I had to watch parts of this video twice so I could get a better understanding of the conversation. I had never heard of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and I’ve had years of therapy and counselling.
Some very good points about how you take care of yourselves as life coaches. Some of the gems from this discussion: “[when it comes to love], if you’re not letting it in then you’re not letting it out”, Wendy’s comment about wanting her clients to move on but understanding their need to connect, and Wendy’s demonstration of tapping.
But my biggest takeaway was how you both spoke to each other, not just candidly but connecting as women. I liken it to two veteran sailors eating together in the same wardroom but have duties on opposite ends of the ship. I learned a lot and enjoyed the entire discussion very much. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this wonderful message, Thomas. It really touched my heart. It was so lovely talking with Sue. And I love that you thought of us in this way.
You are more than welcome to reach out to me if you have any questions about EFT or want more guidance. I have a free guide that you can have a read through for more details.
Thank you, Wendy. I have a dear friend who is struggling with many mental and physical issues. She is in a state-run therapy and health program, she cannot afford anything else. I think EFT might benefit her as well as myself. I be interested in obtaining your free booklet. She is an avid reader and researches almost everything. Let me know.
Oh gosh I accidentally hit “post” when I was trying to delete that part about my friends. Yes, that is the beauty of the internet but it is also a two-edged sword.
I love the analogy of two veteran sailors, Thom. Yes Wendy is one of my favourite Substackers. Lovely lady and very knowledgeable. I can see why clients stay with her. Thank you so much Thom for watching 💕
Thanks, Sue. “SubStacker” … definitely a culture unto itself here. I suppose every social media site does. I’m a little late joining the fray. An outsider to be sure.
SubStack is the only social media site where I use my real name. (I write on Quora and Academia but I do not consider them social.)
Wendy (and you) have a natural ease that invites people in. No cold leather couches and negative polar questions. It is no wonder people stick around. Of course that depends on what you’re looking for and if it is a good match (as you both pointed out).
I’m excited for this Sue.

That’s the beauty of the internet. We can make friends with people all over the world. You might get to meet people in your area through Substack now.

I think Substack is the most fantastic space for genuine people. I think this is a great time for you to be starting out here. Best wishes.
Thank you Susan. Wendy is so wise and great to talk to 💕
Thank you, Susan. Sue really made it so easy for me.🌟
